If you're referring to the fatigue factor I don't think it will have any impact. If you're referring to it getting into their heads how hard it's going to be going against another WCHA team I think it could have a great impact.
Especially when the team they're going against took all four games...

We know OSU had no trouble with St.Lawrence and I felt their struggle with Colgate was in large part to the first games of the season and on Colgate 's home ice. Our girls were simply out of sync not having enough under their belts to get their chemistry. Against the Badgers can go either way. I'd say...

We had a scare thinking our attending the FF wasn't going to happen. The wife couldn't breath Sunday after midnight and had EMS take her to the ER. Her doctor today said it could be a bronchitis or pneumonia and gave her prescriptions to cover either. He said she's not contagious and as long as she's...

Could have been worse, at least it wasn't an Ohio State jersey. LOL!...

Actually I was told she hadn't made a decision yet but I don't know what offers she has.
I know full well how the health issues make an athlete a question mark, my daughter was a top prospect for D1 softball but the offers got scarce when she tore her labrum in her throwing shoulder her senior...Last edited by Hockeybuckeye; 03-16-2024, 09:53 PM.

Mrs.Hockeybuckeye and I are going to the award ceremony just so we can take up two seats and make it two less Badgers get in. (Wink)

You're the most travelled Gopher fan I know. It's awesome you support your team so well. Always glad to welcome you in our barn....

Wow, 4 OTs, how brutal! At that point it's not the better team who wins but who doesn't make a mistake first when the fatigue sets in.

I always thought she'd do it with a pillow in my sleep!
She misses her chance with the plug and it would have been legal. LOL!
I can laugh about it but when I really think about the plug pulling it scares the hell out of me!...

I get a lot of practice picking on the wife. Fortunately for me she doesn't hold a grudge, they did ask her about pulling the plug on me when I was in the ICU on a ventilator.
They probably told her there's no brain activity, she would have said that's normal for him!...Last edited by Hockeybuckeye; 03-16-2024, 09:34 AM.

It was at the far end from where I was sitting so I couldn't see it clearly and as mentioned before no video board in our barn to see replays. But it was at the end of the ice where all the UConn fans were so you can imagine their reaction....

I see Josey Dunne at Minnesota is in the portal. I wonder if we'll have two Dunne's at Ohio State next season?

For those of us not involved with the inner workings of USCHO and it's forum there is no way for us to know their available resources/revenue for dealing with any issues encountered. I guess it's just a wait and see to see if there will be eventual improvements.
Perhaps...Last edited by Hockeybuckeye; 03-15-2024, 10:15 PM.

I was kind of torn between conference loyalty and the desire to play against a new team. If it weren't for the unbelievable performance of UConn's goaltender it would have been a rout. But as a Buckeye, from my perspective both of Duluth and UConn's seasons are ended here, the only difference is one...

I do seem to recall after the popup ads became the norm USCHO staff posted it was necessarily to fund the site.
I would assume the ads could be gone and the site significantly upgraded if it became a paid subscription to be a member. I'm grateful it is a free site for us and hope it stays that...
