Due to the writers’ strike Disney is simulcasting ten MNF games to ABC. On the one hand, they’re already simulcasting with the Manningcast, but it’s weird to me that the contracts allow them to just play it on whatever channel they want. It’d seem weird if Fox was like “ok,...

If the ball travels over the goal post it has to be completely inside of the post to be considered good. Obviously that angle isn’t straight on but either all or part of the ball was probably over the top there.

Yeah, I saw a picture and it definitely was a puncture, just the car and not the tire....

What caused the Red Bulls to be so off this week? They’ve dominated all types of tracks this year so it can’t be that it’s a street circuit. Is it literally just the climate of Singapore? Other cars would seem to sit in DRS range for a couple laps before dropping back out and then...

For years Rays fans have been saying that it’s the stadium location in that’s killing attendance, not that there isn’t a fan base. Somewhat backed up by the fact they’re in the top half of the league in TV despite being in the basement for attendance. Just put the stadium on...

That’s why I think even with Sainz’s DRS strategy Lewis would’ve pulled it off. He had better pace AND had the tires in better condition despite starting five seconds behind.
Also surprised Yuki retired that early with a puncture. Seems he didn’t even try to see...

I think Hamilton would have taken first had he been the front of the duo there.

I know South Korea and China were in jeopardy of losing their men’s hockey autobids for the winter games. But I haven’t heard of anyone not getting one. Helps they dumped baseball and softball, though there are always enough Americans with heritage to backfill a country’s roster for...

They’ve had the talent for about a decade now, but they could never get guys to commit to playing in tournaments....

Canada and the US qualify for men’s basketball by making the knockout round, ensuring they finish over Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. US got upset by Lithuania today, but that might’ve played to their favor as they now get to miss Canada, Slovenia, and Serbia until the finals....

That Ferrari battle was amazing the last five laps. And some Hammertime out of Lewis once he got past Albon to get out of the penalty.
Street race next, so hopefully that can throw some variables and at least give us a different Red Bull winner....

My interesting Boise budget story is that they cut wrestling in 2017 to add a baseball program. The team’s first season was 2020 which was obviously cut short. Then they cut the baseball team due to revenue reductions from COVID. Now, maybe wrestling would’ve been cut during COVID, but it’s...

I tried looking it up but it’s surprisingly hard to pin down a year. I found an article from their website that mentioned moving to university level in 1970, but that might’ve been their move to D1, not necessarily what is now FBS. That 70s and 80s period is odd trying to read up on history....

If there’s a state to mix that up on it’s Illinois. All the other directionals plus Illinois State are FCS.
I think Michigan might be the only other state with that many directionals that host football, but NMU is D2....
