Girls played a 0-0 tie through 3 periods and an overtime. then lost the extra point in the shootout 1-0. From what I could see, Dartmouth is an improving team that gave us as much as we gave them. Pretty even game that either team could have won in regulation and certainly there were chances in OT to... -
This year it seems we lose focus when we walk into the HFH. We are simply a better team on the road. i would like to see our boys come out for each period really ready to play. Sometimes it seems like they left their legs in the locker room....Leave a comment:

Sorry I had them switch to this game after the ladies finished. Girls were v ery sloppy - but scored 3 power play goals to win 3-1. On to Dartmouth tomorrow and a chance to sweep a road weekend.Leave a comment:

Odds for this weekend game came late this time. Girls are 0.5 goal underdogs for each game. Boys likewise are 0.5 goal underdogs for both games. Seems like these are 4 very even games and anything can happen. Hope anything means we win a couple!!!!!

Overall Dartmouth seems like the much best team of the weekend. But that could have been said for Clarkson last weekend also. Yes we took 3 penalties. Perhaps 2 were of the dumb variety. But you must remember that this game was played in Potsdam and in that rink you have to be extra surprised if you are not called for several infractions late in a game that CCT is losing. Interesting that no replay was ever shown on TV. The play most certainly looked off sides but perhaps they had a better angle to look at. We never get many calls playing up north so I did not expect this goal to be reversed....Leave a comment:

Trnkova did not play. Not sure what the stat sheet is talking about. At the end of the first period Clarkson took 4 penalties within a minute and had 4 ladies sitting together in the box. At the end of one period - RPI girls 1 Clarkson girls 0. Amazing given the fact we are without much of our defensive corps. Trnkova tried to give it a go for tonight but could not and Larsen and Erbinova remain out of the line up. Going to be tough to hold Clarkson off the scoreboard being this short...Leave a comment:

The girls are bigger underdogs at home this weekend at 1.5 goals in each game. If our defense is not toally healthy we are going to be at a much larger disadvantage.Leave a comment:

We are underdogs both nights. 0.5 goals against SLU and 1.5 goals against Clarkson. As others have mentioned, staying out of the box is critical for us but we cannot just sit back and be non-aggressive. Defense must make sure most shots are taken from the perimeter and the slot area is kept as no man's...Leave a comment:
