  • I wish we had Perreault, but sadly, he plays up the street with his USNTDP linemates. In fact for BU at forward, there is a pretty big drop off after Macklin when you look at points. But good depth throughout and guys that are hard to play against, including Tuch (currently plays on the 4th line)....

    - Great character win - exercising demons, etc...I swear I was going to start claiming PTSD if they beat us again, especially wearing those retro jerseys that bring back memories of Bruce Racine, Dave Buda, and Harry Mews...especailly after that fluky second goal. 29 wasn't even shooting it on net, he...

I had the same thought. Good crowd at Agganis last night and it just seemed like it wouldn't have been the same atmosphere if nobody's season was ending with the game....

On Webber - BU did a good job promoting/pushing the blocked shot record and it made him a shoe-in for the defensive d-man award (he likely would have gotten it anyway). However, without looking back, I am going to guess that it is rare for the winner of the award to make one of the All-conference teams....

The Hockey East awards are going to be very interesting this year. One might think that Gauthier is a lock for PoY, but when looking at conference games only, it's very tight between him and Macklin. Celebrini actually has one more point that Cutter and Will Smith, and has a bigger lead on points per...

Willander looked very good at the start of the season but has had his moments of "what are you doing?" since then. You can see the talent, but he seems to have lost some confidence and that is part of the challenge with the second unit. Also, not having Tuch out there on that group hurts ...

Agree 100% on the Eichel vs. MC comparison. I have been saying all season: You could watch three shifts and know right away that Eichel was a man amongst boys. His effortless accelerating stride and core strength stood out to any observer (I still love watching that old "I Like Eich" Hobey...

Many BU and BC fans were claiming they should move the championship game to Boston if we both won their semifinal game. Neither team did :-(

As I'm sure you recall, both the UND and MSU series required comebacks after losing the first game. And against MSU, game three required a comeback...

I didn't go to the game but toured the arena a few weeks ago (son #1 is a senior there). Very open air/"no luxury boxes blocking the view from the concourse anywhere" feel to it like the Whit. Bright, with sunlight coming in one side. Looks very modern. I like the way they have the banners...
