You're not wrong about the downside of the actual plan.
But I'm guessing that when you see how excited the players are about the Wrigley game, your opinion...

There's one day off between the Buckeye/Badger games: January 2nd in Madison; January 3rd Off; January 4th in Chicago. In other words, an extra day on the road; not "two weekends."
Having an open weekend in mid-February isn't ideal. But I don't see any extra cost or wear-and-tear....Leave a comment:
