The County Exec has gone on record as saying that 10% is not viable economically for events at the TUC (shocker). With the NCAA I believe stating they would allow 25%, the question remains will the TUC look for some attendance relief on the upcoming events. I'm not holding my breathe, but it would...

They'll be lucky if they remember how to make ice. The TUC was never known for ice quality.....even when they were home to a pro team....

Agreed. But then again, losing an entire year of not skating or performing on-ice drills at RPI isn't really a development option .... Sadly I drove thru campus on Friday -- reminded me a lot of a scene from a Russian movie...grey dark buildings, few people, few cars. BTW, no snow clearing on Harkness...

I think RB is spot on that we likely never had a real shot at the younger Dub. Any kernel of a glimmer of a hint of hope of landing a kid like that flew out the window when the school decided to stop communicating with its student athletes many months ago......

Governor announced today that arenas and venues over 10,000 seats can reopen at 10% capacity effective 2/23............and yet RPI still can't skate....

Well the score was ugly, but doesn't tell the whole story. It was a 6-3 UML early in the 3rd, before UNH stormed back to bury two PP goals and the even strength equalizer to force OT ...where the Cats won it.
Interestingly, the UNH keeper got yanked after giving up his 6th goal and his replacement...
