I live about 120 miles west of Eastport, place used to be a thriving community. Sardine plants ruled. Now its like a lot of other places in Maine, ghost town where the average age of the citizens is over 60. You should have gotten some Rayes Mustard while you were there though. I think it normally would have stopped in Bar Harbor(acadia) but they put a limit on cruise passengers per day. Too many people in DownTown area as it is....

Raise chickens, dispatch them, pluck them, gut them and freeze whole or parts and you won't eat chicken for weeks. The smell isn't pleasant. Pigs, Sheep, Goats and lambs aren't nearly as bad but still still not a lot of fun. Now multiply that by millions....Leave a comment:

My dogs stay away from it, generally high up in the chair or sofa. I can tell you Golden Retriever hair plugs up an expensive Roomba and you have to clean drivetrain every use as hair is wrapped all over anything that moves....Leave a comment:

CP owns one of the major lines in and out of Maine. They also bring crude into Irvings refinery in St John NB. Might be an issue for us Mainers as all(most) of our refined petroleum comes from St John...Leave a comment:
