The top four teams all held serve this weekend. I will say I am very impressed with Mankato. Wisconsin did not play their best in either game, but Mankato did a lot of little things to make Wisconsin's life difficult. I can see them getting fifth place very easily and making the fourth place team... -

A lot better period. It's kind of period you want to see when you've got the change into your own o zone. Murphy had a couple undesirable events and they did allow a partial and full breakaway - which led to a penalty being called. I would say that it been a not been a very good weekend for the defenseman,...Leave a comment:

Terrible first 4 minutes, passes intercepted left and right on the breakout and allowed a breakaway. Finished good and created better chances. Too many icings too.

Boy there are some ugly ugly transition defense going on there today. I haven't seen it that bad in a long time. Thankfully Ava saved the bacon probably a half dozen times.

Game 1 TWSNBN had 3 pp's and 2 sog. Game 2 they had 5 pp's and 11 sog. The pk was effective as they were 100% for the weekend, but in game one they allowed .66 shots per pp and in game 2 they allowed 2.20 shots per pp, a huge difference I will try and watch the game tonight, there's nothing else...Leave a comment:

We'll get an idea when she's here for sure. I think the PWHL is too deep right now. They need expansion so the talent level from the 1st line to the 3rd line is a bit wider and wider from team to team. That is suppressing scoring. I also think that injuries have made it hard to get continuity going on what is a short season games-wise. They have lost at least 28 games to injury. In a bunch of 1 goal loses, this can be a factor....Leave a comment:
