Just set my DVR, thanks Linda!...

They start with 97 potential candidates, lol. Good for Conmy and Gagne, but c'mon really? The committee gives a bunch of programs a guy or two to generate interest. Why not just start with 10 or 15 solid candidates?...

Top line has been invisible and our top D-man having three horrible games. And then there is MS7…...

Deleted one of my double posts, and now they are both gone? But anyway, I actually suffered through a bit longer, but not much. Seems like everyone is taking turns in new ways to lose....

Sorry, any "glimmer of hope" left the building, convincingly, last weekend. The remainder of the season is just a long slog heading for its eventuality, another disappointing year. UNH will finish last in Hockey East - Change my mind....

Well your elite players were invisible tonight. But hey, they can beat up on the EZAC teams, so there’s that....

Just tell them "do you know who I am"?!?. Also heading over there tonight....

One can argue neither of those teams (especially Providence - Maine is making leaps and bounds getting there) has yet to reach the upper echelons of Division I. Sorry, but LeClerc and Devlin are very good no question, but hardly top tier. 17 pts half way through the season, c'mon Krog, Mowers, Gare,...

Analyzing the upcoming strength of the schedule and making results-based predictions is being "critical" of the team? If you want to believe UNH will win 10, 11, or even 12 of the remaining games that's your prerogative. I'm 100% "behind" the team, I'm just pragmatic. The 'Cats have...Last edited by d.gerry; 01-10-2025, 10:54 AM.

I’m admitting they’re better, would you prefer “solidly”? Ok, UML is solidly better and will win the Natty. Prove me wrong,...

I think we are in about the same shape as last year, with a very similar record, maybe even a bit worse off, IMO. This year we are in the cellar of Hockey East (albeit with games in hand) compared to 4 Hockey East wins last year to date. Last year you could argue we were equal with Maine, but have been...Last edited by d.gerry; 01-09-2025, 04:14 PM.

I agree with you on this, norbert. I just don't see them with a winning record the rest of the way—.500 is the best case. There are tough teams ahead. IMO, UNH just isn't up to the task; talent eventually wins out. There is no clear path to 19 or 20 wins, or 17 or 18 for that matter....

Yeah, we're going to find out very soon where we stand. UConn, to me, is a hard one to figure out. They have some solid wins and some stinkers, a lot like UNH. However, UNH has good momentum coming into the weekend, with a seven-game unbeaten streak on the line (eight if you include the USNDT); UConn...

So UNH continues to inch up in the USA Hockey and USCHO polls, 16th and 17th respectively, with an even more surprising 11th place in the pairwise. I'm a bit surprised and may need to eat humble pie as I was quick to jump on MS7 after the less-than-stellar start of the season. But credit where credit...
