Have to believe there is a roster spot for Ambrosio, 5th year, good skills, lots of game experience. Maybe he wants a change of scenery and he is a much more accomplished player than Carreau but I would rather play for a top 5 program than some pretender. I am not about to second guess the coaching... -

Interesting point Jofa, and you may be on to something there. I did not think BU could beat DU so I was rooting more for Denver because beating BU four times in one season seemed too much. I also thought DU would be really tough because of all their 2-1 games leading up to the NC. I did think BC...Leave a comment:

What JD said, great team, lots of great moments, peaked in the HE tournament, survived Qpac but Denver would not let them be bop and scat all over the ice. I think you are being a little harsh, losing 2-1 in OT in a semi final game, solid second ranked team all year long, winning 28 games is an excellent team, not the best team but an excellent team. In the post season Leonard has taken a huge step up not only in his play but his leadership of the team as well. Agree on Ambrosio, he has had a tough year as a 4th year vet, but those guys Malone, Ambro and Armstrong have been really good for this team and they have accepted their roles. Agree AMbrosio deserved a penalty shot, Leonard was crossed checked after he put in the first one and then again cross checked into the net just before Perreault's penalty. The first 30 seconds were great after that the first two periods were really bad. They were throwing the puck around like they were drunk. Perreault's penalty was really dumb, no excuse, that is the second game in a row for a 5 minute major. No need for that type of play, playing with fire. The fisticuffs...Leave a comment:

I did notice a little juggling of lines in the second period. I thought maybe Leonard was hurt but it was to put Gauthier on Celebrini, who BTW had 8 shots for the game. It was a terrific game if you are a BC fan, the only blemish was the 5 minutes to Armstrong, just a witless penalty in the neutral zone, no need for it. Fowler was solid in the first and second periods until BC got rolling and when they started rolling it was all down hill from there. Hrabel had a bad night, it seemed like he could not find the puck.
