Ya a whole bunch of upper 200 level seats are available that weren’t showing yesterday for Friday. There’s a ton of seats available for Sunday as expected. If/when BC wins Friday, they should offer a pregame Easter Mass on the ice on Sunday so we can all justify bringing our families...

This happens a lot with pairwise which is why a lot of people like the KRACH model instead of RPI used in Pairwise. With KRACH they're rated CC #13, WMU #16 and SCSU #17 vs. RPI it's WMU #13, CC#15 and SCSU #17. KRACH rewards teams more for a stronger strength of schedule than RPI typically...Last edited by sigx15; 03-26-2024, 09:28 PM.

Ya there probably won't be in Missouri, that's for sure. I'm going to guess that Michigan Tech and Wisconsin will probably not use all of theirs with the travel and even BC and QU may not due to Easter weekend, who knows...

I could be completely making this up but I thought for regionals they do a 48 hour hold on allocations for each of the school and then once all those all allotments are accounted for, they release any unused tickets? I thought I remembered in years past a new batch of tickets becoming available on Tuesday...

I always like looking at KRACH ratings when the tourney comes out to see what would've changed under another model. Western would be out and CC would be in. The regions would look a lot different too, it'd look something like below
Providence:
BC vs. Michigan Tech
Minnesota...

I noticed this too but it happened a lot after a PP or PK. Instead of putting out the 4th line, he’d have Jellvik up with Smith and Perrault or Armstrong up with Gasseau and Jellvik. There were some others but a lot of it felt like it had to do with special teams and a reluctance to use the 4th...

Ya "neutral sites" falls on complete deaf ears to me when it seems like a #3 or #4 seed end of benefiting from it more than top seeds and now they're playing in a 2500 seat arena when they could sell 5-10k tickets for a regional baffles me. We could have 1st round home matches on campus at...

The hosting rule is so dumb. I really hope it's changed next year. BU having to go to Missouri so a #4 seed UMass gets to play in Springfield breaks my brain...

As much as I don't like BU, the rule where a #4 seed has to host sending a #1 seed to another region is so dumb it's insane...

What a game, just an incredible way to cap off a great year in hockey east

Pretty shocking only 3 hockey east teams will end up getting in. Providence and UMass just had 2 pretty rough months down the stretch

Gunnar Fontaine to the transfer portal. That one hurts, he's really fun to watch

My big concern is how much rust both guys have and at what level they return at. Are they coming back at 100% or 80%. Hopefully they can come back and be meaningful contributors but until I hear otherwise, I’m aligning my expectations of them not being in the lineup next weekend...

I’m definitely concerned he won’t be back. If hes not back, I want to see them break up the Leonard, Smith and Gauthier line. Put Gauthier back with Gasseau and Jellvik. Move someone up with Smith and Leonard. That line hasn’t clicked, and teams can really focus on on matching up with...

It’s really dumb but it’s because the NCAA is so rigid about not having intra conference matchups in the first round so ND can’t play Omaha or BU can’t play Providence and Omaha being the host forces BU out to Sioux Falls. The big thing you’d want as a BU fan to end up...

BCBlogger said both him and Vote are skating in practice earlier this week but not as regulars. I’d be surprised to either of them play Saturday...

I’m really curious if Maine & Providence are both 3 seeds if they try to shoe horn Providence into the Providence regional. If they do, I’ll be convinced Providence has an inside person on the committee...

ya it’s time. She’s had more than enough time to right the ship and between all the transfers out, the inability to bring in high end talent outside of Taber, and the obvious mediocre results, it’s time to move on. I know York is/was a big proponent of hers but it was York’s...

you’re right, I had 2013 in my head too but I just double checked and they weren’t there then...

they never are, all 4 times Brown was the host and the committee still shoe horned them in there...
