Eh, who cares? Rooting for a team doesn't change the results. BU absolutely could have beaten BC. Odds would have been much lower but still.
Bottom line, it's one and done and anything can (and will) happen. It's amazing when it works out for you as an underdog and cruel when it doesn't...

So proud of these kids. They are such good kids. I just feel like a proud dad. They did all they could and left it on the ice.

Ha. Accurate. Loved to name drop the kid's high school coach. I found that odd as it really wasn't relevant really for the viewer but to him it was super important to do it 20 times a game....

Had a few text messages about QU and Coach Peckerhead with some folks over the past few days. We all agreed he is the new Shawn Walsh.
Tremendous coach, unnecessarily douchey with the whining and berating of refs constantly. Bozo.

I concur. I think there is some bias in how we may view this due to:
1) BC being a far better team on paper
2) QU never trailing until Malone put it in...

Ok ok everyone remain calm. I can’t believe it. No way in heck did I expect this after being down 2-0 and 4-3. We were cooked. Done. Fore.
The Leonard goal to tie it on the wraparound was another insane play from him. Minnetian sniping it just WOW (he stymied the QU rush and...

Getting out of the garage I was in was a trainwreck as well. I never realized how small the councourses are at this place. The lines for concessions and men's rooms were creating grid-lock not to mention bozos just standing around in the way and clogging it up. Pretty annoying. I was surprised to...

I’m worried about faceoffs being a real issue against QU. And you know Coach Peckerhead will be berating the refs all night. It’s amazing to watch him in person, this guy wakes up and lives to work the refs all game long. I’ve never seen anything like it.
In general...

Well that was interesting. Generally speaking don’t like the matchup with QU but we owe them badly for 2016 and I’d like to make them pay that debt this year.
Fowler is the one.

It'd be cool if they allow re-entry on Day 1. I doubt they will but it'd be cool.

Albany is too small now anyway, right? Columbus was terrible IMO....

It's interesting and almost surprising BC has only been the overall #1 seed twice before but it is tough to finish #1 in the Pairwise and some of those early York teams (Gionta era) took a long time to get going and always seemed to just get crazy good come March. #1 worked out in 2012; 2005 not so...

No opinions. BC is the clear-cut favorite and I hate that fact....

All the 1 seeds get the early game. They don't want to be sitting around waiting for hours if the 2/3 games go into OT or several OTs....

This women's game is going go into OT and force us to wait, isn't it? Ha.

No doubt. While we see common themes in the national title runs, every one is different. This team has a few chances to write their own story in the history books of BC hockey. The two things they can really exorcise:
- No Beanpot school has won the national title without winning the Beanpot...

Armstrong is going to need to be better, he struggled a bit this tournament, but congrats to him on his back to back HE tourney titles....
