Filling in the missing info here. Leddy transferred to Quinnipiac....

He was BC's 7th defenseman this year even though he was always playing as the extra player and getting quality ice time. 2 are leaving and 2 more highly rated ones are coming in. He may have still been #7 but BC also may use the extra skater as a forward at times next year....

They will be building a new arena for the NHL team within 5 years. In the meantime, they will use the Delta Center sharing it with the NBA team. They also have the Maverick Center a 10,000-seat rink that was used for the last Olympics. The new rink will be in place long before SLC's expected 2034 Olympics...

Every time this thread rises to the top my fear is that one of the young stars on this team goes pro. I don't expect to see anyone else of significance go the portal route when they already have a great place to play and study. Ambrosio could shine in the AHA just like Casey Carreau did in leading Niagara...

While Michigan has a stellar PP, BC is second best. As for Penalty kill BC is first and Michigan is way down tied with Denver for 45th. BU is not much better at 36th. If penalties are called evenly the advantage goes to BC over all the others....

I tend to think Marshall Warren playing for Michigan is a bigger advantage for Michigan than for BC. While BC knows what to expect from Warren and will be able to predict his play, his knowledge of BC players could be more of an impact in what several BC players intricacies are.

If those who run college hockey were smart they would choose none other than Gauthier. He was a top pick that decided to stay another year. That would send a clear message to other star players to stick around for at least another year. Giving it to another freshman would continue the one and done attitude...

All referees make mistakes from time to time. They have a very difficult job because of the pace of the game. They have a way of correcting any possible missed flagrant violations without any coach peppering them. A coach can just say to a referee to please watch a video of it later rather than to chew...

No, they don't and it's not part of their job. Being dishonest and cunning are not traits one should adhere to. There is a huge difference in demeanor between coaches. York and Brown are opposites of Jack Parker, Shawn Walsh, Greg Carvel and Rand Pecknold in that respect. They are all highly gifted...

Not a bad word is being said there about the team or it's fans. BC has all the respect for both. As for Rand, yes there is talk about his way of playing the refs and comparing him to some of the all-time great complainers but there is also respect for him as a technical coach. This is not the first...

First of all, Basketball plays Saturday next giving it another day off than hockey would have in that situation. Hockey fans would have even less time to make arrangements for travel and hotel rooms. Most schools don't even have the tickets distributed until at least Tuesday making it nearly impossible...

It is very annoying when coaches go the route of playing the refs to get a little influence later. Coaches that come to mind are (were) all excellent x's and o's coaches but were also in the refs ear throughout games: Jack Parker, Shawn Walsh, Rand Pecknold, Greg Carvel. I wish that referees would call...

There is one highly overlooked factor in the games in Providence. That is the poor quality of the ice. They recently put down ice and it was choppy and soft. That slows down a fast skating and great passing team like BC and is an advantage to trap teams like Michigan Tech and Quinnipiac. Players like...

Face offs have been BC's weak spot being just under 50% (49.9%) 36th for the season. Quinnipiac is #3 at 55% so that certainly is an issue. Despite all his other talents being over the top Will Smith is only at 43.8% on faceoffs. Maybe he could stay another year at BC to perfect that as well!! As for...

I doubt that the Delta Center is too small. It seats 18,206 for basketball. The LA Kings and Vegas Golden Knights are playing an exhibition game there in September supposedly in expectation of a future NHL team there....

Even if you don't visit the museums you must stop at the Dr Seuss sculpture park on the grounds which is free. It is in walking distance of the arena. Most all of the Seuss characters are there along with the story 'Oh the places you'll go'. I would also be remiss if I did not mention the National Shrine...
