  • I also agree that BC started slowly, both nights. The difference being that they made their chances against Michigan count and they didn’t finish against Denver. They could have been up 2-0 after the first period against DU. Both Leonard and Guftason could have scored in the 3rd period.

  • Looking at Denver’s last 3 games they have only been penalized 3 times including zero against BU. They make you earn your goals 5 x 5. They have not done well on face offs and they have been outshot by a decent margin. They trap the neutral zone and look for their opportunities. That’s also...

  • Greg Brown is building a very strong team from the net out. I know that they will be very difficult to score against the next two years, but I never expected them to shut out Michigan. They looked a little sluggish in the first period only getting 6 shots on goal. For awhile they only had 1 shot and...

  • I think the week off will really benefit BC. Michigan is a very experienced team making their 3rd straight Frozen 4. The extra time to prepare and get this young team to refocus on their defensive zone play is crucial to a successful weekend.

    Heading out Wednesday morning!

  • I got a good laugh out of the comments that Rand works the refs! I’m a long time BC season ticket holder in football, basketball and hockey. I have seen Gary Williams berate many referees and watched Addazio chase them into the locker room! Rand’s a real light weight compared to some of...

  • BC could have been up 2-0 after the first period. A bad penalty by Smith and a blind behind the back clearing pass by #5 and it was 2-0 QU. From that point on BC outscored QU 5-2. I actually thought BC could win this game 4-1 or 5-2. The regional finals have been some our most difficult wins in this...

  • The refs decided to let the holding, hooking and cross checking go uncalled. It took BC awhile to adjust and fight through it. I thought BC did an excellent job back checking and Fowler was terrific. After all is said and done they only gave up one goal. They wear teams down and take over in the 3rd...

  • Trinity Brew House is directly across the street from the Amica Pavilion, formerly known as the Dunkin Center.

  • I’m going both days, have tickets at center ice. It looks like a lot of tickets have been sold. The official Amica Pavilion website has very few tickets and all crazy prices.

More importantly, where is the pregame watering hole and will it be open on Sunday?

    Go Eagles!

  • The 3rd period was a turning point for this team. All year long they have had trouble holding leads. They won almost all of those games, except at PC, but the 3rd period last night was their best performance with a lead all year long. As others have pointed out, the team defense was outstanding. ...

  • I would not be surprised if the Garden is sold out. BC v UMass at 4 pm. BU v Maine will be another battle.

  • They have not been good at holding leads all year long including the last game at home against UConn. You have to give them credit for getting the GWG and moving onto the semifinal without Perrault in the lineup. That’s 50 points we lost without him being in the lineup.
