Boston University Terriers 2026-2027 season…insert clever title here!

Is there a reason tonight's game v. Brown is exhibition?
there are a few posts answering this in the first page but tl;dr: on BU's end- limits on numbers of games in a season, on Brown's- ivy league rules means their season doesn't start until nearly november. thats why all of them start later and play less games, thus not a lot of OOC opportunities.

going to alaska is pretty disruptive so my impression was terriers using this as a soft reset into a regular college flow. im sure theres some sort of backstory of why brown- maybe they meant to have a regular season game at some point but the schedules didn't align or another team was supposed to be here and backed out and brown filled in, etc...

new coaching staff for the bears prob liked the opportunity to see them in game action against a ranked team. brown fans seemed happy with the result in the sense of "they're bad still but they look less bad." essentially the blueprint is there

Didn’t attend but looks like the single stripes made an appearance.

Anything new and exciting on the concessions end of things?
A Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich & Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Loaded Fries in a Souvenir Helmet. Cardiologist approved!

I didn't try either.

Defense and goaltending looks great but at what point do we go from the forwards are “snakebitten” to maybe not very good?

malhotra and lawrence may develop into scorers but the rest of them i think i’ve seen enough of a sample

Brown's goalie was DU's backup his first two years. He had two 10-bell saves on chances in the second period alone. Alaska's goalie had another very strong performance against BC on Friday too. It remains to be seen whether we have enough finishers, that could be a legitimate concern. But we've faced two strong goalies to start the season - and done relatively OK for the first few games.

This is a much, much, much more physical group than last year.

I have nothing to say, just that our thread shouldn't be on Page 2 on game day.

They should win both of these games easily, right? Why do I sense they're going to be 2-1 games with one going into OT. I hope I'm wrong. Putting up a legit 4 spot would be nice.
