Business, Economics, and Taxes 2: That's Why We Fight to Take the Means Back

I mean them sinking into poverty as inequality goes into overdrive. They see that as damage, but they blame women, liberals, blacks, and queers.
Obama. They still blame Obama. A Black, Muslim, Marxist who married a transgender man (or a gorilla, take your pick) He just about checks all the boxes.

I am willing to contribute from my personal accounts to see the White House completely restored when the next President takes over. Erase everything Dump did. Unexist him.

This is what we should do in general. No portrait. A blank space in the line of photos. No pictures of him at all. Report on what he did, but do not quote him, do not allude to anything he said, just a factual summary of his actions. Make it such that he was nothing more than a read out from a poorly designed AI.

SpaceX will reportedly IPO with a $1.75 Trillion valuation

Lil Hitler says SpaecX will launch data centers into space. And we'll use that to build a galactic civilization, like Star Trek.

Sounds legit.

I'm for it. As long as he uses his money and his resources, I am for it.

He's an asshole and a moron but on that one essential fact, that humanity must become multi-planetary and eventually interstellar, he is absolutely right.

We need more baskets for our eggs, particularly since fuckwits like him threaten life on a basket-wide scale.

I'm sure the Polynesian who set sail and eventually wound up in Hawaii was an assclown too.

a few years ago, I went to one of those island chains in the picture kep just posted. Truly the most breathtaking, remote place on earth I've ever seen. I actually spent a lot of time there thinking about the polynesian sailors, because I still can't believe they did all that

Crossing the Pacific Ocean in a canoe is the closest a human has come to moving between planets in a spaceship.

We will get there. I absolutely believe in us. We somehow need to keep the small brains from murdering everyone in their fear and rage, but once we have freed ourselves from them we are unstoppable. We are poised right on the edge of saying good bye to all that. We will leave them to their dying cinder of a world used up by their greed, malice, and stupidity, like that one smart kid fleeing her podunk fundy town and venturing out to college, the big city, and the adventure of a fulfilling life.

When you think about it, those early sailors were so much braver than their European counterparts, who thought if they sailed too far west they'd fall off the edge of the world.

As far as I can tell, that myth was used to control people. The fact that the world is round has been known for millennia. Even to the non Christian Europe. Who traveled to North America roughly the same time the Polyneseans sailed to Hawaii.

I don't know that the common run of men knew, or cared, about the shape of the Earth.* Sailors and traders certainly always knew of the curvature of the Earth, however, going back to antiquity, because masts appear before bows, and sterns disappear before masts, on the horizon.

* They may well not today. I would be terrified to poll the gen pop on basic empirical knowledge.

I sometimes thing that current flat earthers are just trolls. So no point in engaging them, since gets them off. And if they are so stupid to not believe the obvious, kinda hard to figure it's worth my time to explain reality again.

I assume a good percentage of them are joking. I don't think they are being deliberately nasty like trolls. They're just taking the piss out of it.

That would also line up with it skewing younger.

I didn't watch the show, but there were clips from a show where flat Earthers try to prove they're right but keep running into problems and accidentally prove they're wrong, but they never can admit it and just blame the equipment.

So while some do it as a gag, (ie: the "birds aren't real" people), sadly the majority actually do believe their own ignorance over fact.
