Could be a bridge guy with awesome experience....
Since Fortney’s great goal, I think that there were a few very good moments followed by not so great moments when we beat Cornell in Albany at the 2010 regionals before getting embarrassed by RIT, beat Miami in Manchvegas at the 2011 regionals before getting umiliated by NICC, beat DU (the university) in Manchvegas again at the 2013 regionals before gettin bazined by UML, and beat PC at da Garden in the Hockey East semi’s in 2015 before getting bazined once again by UML. Wow, it has been only eleven years but seems like ancient history, with apologies to Prof Allen Linden.Probably the last "great" moment in UNH hockey history
Maybe a Helsten 2.0?

That happened on the Merrimack PA and I remember looking at the bench and seeing DU have a little laugh with one of his assistants about it. Of course given how the last 8 years have gone I wish the assistant coach he was laughing with was someone other than who it was...I've heard it pronounced U Meal![]()
I was hearing on social media other teams fans were also clamoring for him. At 6’4” and with his save % / record from last year, I imagine he will get a fair amount of interest across Div 1.

We can always ask the question of the soon to be unemployed ADWhat a shame that UNH apparently has no one leading the Men's Hockey program to make themselves available to answer important questions like this ...
Speaking a bit more of the 603 Challenge, I haven’t seen one video of Souza asking for donations… theres at least one main one of Rich speaking for the Athletics department. We can always ask the question of the soon to be unemployed AD
Skiing = winners!Speaking a bit more of the 603 Challenge, I haven’t seen one video of Souza asking for donations… theres at least one main one of Rich speaking for the Athletics department.
Looking at the board now, hockey has raised a little over $40K with a goal of $47K by the end of today. If they reach this, a “Generous group of UNH hockey alumni and supporters” will tack on $134K.
Hopefully they can get there! Looking at other athletics though, I’m a bit surprised to see hockey is not at the top of donations across athletics. Currently they are behind:
Football ($192K)
Skiing ($106K)
Swimming/Diving ($61K)
Perhaps just another sign of how far things have fallen recently…
Hopefully if they don’t reach their goal it isn’t another source of complaints from MS7. Again I haven’t seen any advocacy for him regarding this. I’ve seen a few short videos of a few players advertising the challenge.
Desperate times require desperate measures?I received 18 (!) individual emails about the 603 Challenge.
No surprise here..these sports typically are the top $$ getters...Speaking a bit more of the 603 Challenge, I haven’t seen one video of Souza asking for donations… theres at least one main one of Rich speaking for the Athletics department.

Any indication of whether they were voluntary, forced, or suggested departures?3 defensemen and 4 forwards will be entering the portal. Could be more but these are the ones I confirmed

Sounds like mostly voluntary? Conversations about playing time I believe was a big factor for most. And yes I heard from them directlySeriously? Did you hear this from the players directly?
