But Leavitt also specifically said that Kegbreath “authorized” the strike, so he’s not going to be able to distance himself far enough from this one. He has exactly 3 years to relocate to a non-extradition country.

Joe Biden wont be nominating the head of the DOJ hoping to heal wounds. No one is winning the Democratic nomination if they believe bipartisanship is the way. The Centrists are less popular than the GOP these days.

Put it this way...there is a reason Gavin had AOC come to Cali to push Prop 50 aling with her going to Tennessee for their House Special Election.

There won't be a Mertick Garland this time.

The Dump Admin claims Walz and Minnesota sent money to Al-Shabbab, a Somali terror group. Like everything else this trashministration does, I assume they'll "make the proof."

As much as I hate to say it, I feel all this fraud that happened under Walz's watch is going to lead to his demise in the 2026 election. Unless the Republicans run one of their crazies (Scott Jensen, Royce White), Walz doesn't recover from this pounding.

Lisa DeMuth should be the front runner for the Republicans, but we have seen how Conservative Red Hats in the Land of Rocks and Cows like blacks and women, and she is a black woman.

Probably, but don't underestimate the number of people who hate trump but who are really mad at this fraud. a shocking amount of my extended family mentioned they were pissed on Thanksgiving. I took the opportunity to point out that while the fraud does suck, we're ripped off way more by corps and billionaires. Would they vote for Jensen? God I hope not.

I do think there's a fear of being called "racist" here pointing it out. Now, is there fraud committed by non-Somalis? oh, of course. Is it ten times the size? dunno. but as many Somalis have pointed out, they come from a completely corrupt gov where defrauding is common, and helping out your "group" is a way of life. Import thousands of them here, paired with a system that defaults to "get the aid out now" attitude, well....

the optics are a gold mine for Rs, but I'd feel worse if they ran anyone competent or won a statewide race in the last decade.

That assumes that there's enough non-centrists Democrats to get some firebrands past the Senate and on the cabinet. Might be stuck with "Majority , but last three seats are Fetterman/Slotkin etc clones"

Walz is going to cakewalk. The GOP has no one and no one in the center or left blames Walz for that.

It doesn't need to be a firebrand...anyone who is better than Garland will do it if for no other reason than internationally they will be pressured to.

What matters is who is the President. If its an old Biden type we are screwed. If its Chris Murphy Heggy is in trouble even if he is pardoned. If it someone better than Murphy (please let it not be Murphy) then all bets are off buddy.
