She has to. Otherwise other PDF file supporters will expel her citing mental competence (stop laughing) and the matter will be postponed until a new PDF file supporter can be elected in her place.

Further correction, it was said she was expected to. Now there are other reports saying she isn’t. We’ll have to see. I expect someone will, only way Johnson agreed to swear Grijalva in, in my opinion. Trump apparently playing phone tag with Mace and Boebert, which is obviously something an innocent person would do.
Saw a skeet on Bluesky that Boebert met with White House officials in the Situation Room (👀) to discuss her willingness to sign for the Epstein documents release.

This deal gets worse all the time

After intense lobbying and major campaign donations, the emergency spending bill intended to end the federal government shutdown is including language abolishing rules designed to prevent food contamination and foodborne illnesses at farms and restaurants.

The bill would also limit the development of rules to regulate ultra-processed foods, despite such foods being derided by the “Make America Healthy Again Movement,” championed by President Donald Trump’s Health and Human Services secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The Senate’s gutting of these rules coincides with a huge increase in hospitalizations and deaths from foodborne illnesses. The changes follow restaurant and food industry lobbyists spending more than $13 million in 2025 lobbying the White House, Congress, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulators on food-tracking issues and other matters, disclosures show.

Two of these lobbying groups pressing for the changes delivered more than $750,000 to both parties’ congressional candidates and more than $145,000 to the two parties’ congressional election committees in the last election. That includes $17,000 combined to three of the seven Democratic senators who sided with Republicans to pass the funding bill.

We're well past this point by now, but I don't think she's even supposed to be in the situation room...

A rumor I have heard making the rounds:

The Democrats acted to save the filibuster. Trump was applying pressure to John Thune to nuke the filibuster and end the shutdown. Chuck Schumer et al could not risk that happening. They live in a fantasyland where not only are there free and fair elections in 2026, but that they will somehow be back in the majority. Without the filibuster the base might expect them to actually accomplish something instead of crying that they need 60 votes to get anything done. The filibuster had to be saved, and if tens of millions of people lost their health coverage as a consequence, so be it. "Some of you may die, but that's a risk I'm willing to take."

So when the House finally passes this mess, will it go straight to Twatwaffle tonight for his signature, or will there be a Rose Garden ceremony tomorrow? Is Twatwaffle even in Washington?
