Mavs with their first commitment out of the portal; forward Charlie Lurie from Omaha. 10 points in 20 games last season. Originally from Minnetonka, two years of eligibility left.
Well...might have to eat crow. Apparently some concern over Pritchard. Depends on where he flips to if it happens. If it's the Gophers or Wisconsins of the world, they were poaching recruits pre-NIL, too.I'd bet they both do.
Hope you're right but I have my doubts especially Kraft. I'd be SHOCKED he makes it here.I'd bet they both do. The teams that can stright up buy someone still aren't going hard after the 20 year old freshman. Combine that with shrinking rosters. Losing Eisele isn't ideal, but it doesn't turn them into a farm team. If that were the case, Murr would have been gone after his freshman year (ie Pohlkamp) and Ashton would have moved on after this year. Going to lose a player here and there, just have to trust the coaching staff to have a plan B, C, D etc.
It's unfortunate, but onward and upward I guess. Gophers are almost always get who they want, which makes their title drought all the more hilarious, just hope Kraft is the exception to the rule. Hard to say if this is worse, or if they have a good freshman year and then bounce. Hopefully the staff has time to hit the CHL for a forward or two for next year.Well we lost both Pritchard and Kernan.... No longer committed
You make a good point. There were games late in the season where he was the extra skater. On Ashton you will get a much faster D in his place, too slow against fast teams was exposed and could not play him against Western.
Even more so since the Mavs picked up Scholl from the portal.Pulver to Wisconsin. Makes the October series in Madison even more interesting, as if it needed any help in that aspect.
