Howdy Lodge. Already treating myself to a Lemon Drop martini at the *HT even though there’s more than a period left to play. Siiiigh.

At the HHT tonight. Then I got home and someone was parked in my spot. JFC. Called the tow company on the signs we have on our building and they’re like “Yeah, we don’t have your building on our list.” Great. So I grabbed some paper, a black marker, made signs and went back down to the car and affixed with packing tape.

Good morning and happy Friday Lodge. No hockey games for me this weekend. I should take this time to do something productive.

Waking up at the HHT! Regular season champs as well (5 in a row).

I've had the crud that's going around since Thursday. Fever spiked at 103. Cough, congestion, nausea... you name it, I had it. The worst I have ever felt! Today is the first morning out of bed. Haven't eaten solid food in 4 days. Water and ginger ale by the gallon.

We had almost 50% absentee rate at work last week so I knew it was coming. If you don't get it consider yourself very lucky. It's been brutal!

So things went south in a hurry after posting this yesterday. Went to urgent care just before noon. Ended up admitted overnight for treatment of Influenza A and pneumonia with a touch of kidney failure tossed in. Started IV for dehydration (reason for kidney issue). Pushed XOFLUZA for the Influenza A and 2 other antibiotics for the pneumonia and Prednisone to help open my lungs to help expel fluid. I was an absolute mess for several hours. Around 9 pm last night they gave me a second round of meds and by midnight was starting to feel some relief. Didn't get any quality sleep but was awoken at 4 this morning for round 3 of meds. By 9 am was on another full bag of IV with the goal to see improved kidney function. If yes, I could go home, otherwise was going to need transfer to the hospital for further treatment. Luckily, after the IV the kidneys tested normal. Was finally released mid afternoon. Will continue the antibiotics for 10 days and hopefully the worst is over.

Never had pneumonia before and do not recommend it. It's not fun. Nothing about the last 4 or 5 days has been remotely close to fun.

Hope that you are truly better. March forth! ;)

I guess that winning the ECAC regular season title has become old hat.
