Haha, that's a lot of hate there. I don't hate any NHL team, I'm not that invested into the league to hate anyone, but Colorado, Dallas, Minn and Chicago are my 4 least favorite teams. The last 3 are obvious, I dislike Colorado due to the battles with the Wings during the period when they were battling.

MCR junior told me there's a documentary coming out about those Wings-Avs battles. Pretty intense games, but I've never hated the RedWings.

BTW, 2 down 2 to go. Tonight was just an ass-whoopin'. I didn't predict a sweep, but Avs in 6.
It might be 4 or 5 now.

Tim, did you go to any IIHF U-18 games? I went to 6 at LaBahn. Absolutely impressive.

Yeah I got to 3 games Then we left the area for our annual fishing vacation for a week. So I only saw the preliminary US games against Sweden and Finland And the Canada Finland game. Lots of talent for the women's program on the ice. Super exciting.

I have never encountered a team so loaded with talent through draft luck (what is it, five top five picks?) combined with an extremely arrogant fan base (I’m not talking about you). Compounded with icing one of the scummiest players in recent history (Kadri), they are easy to hate.

Was great to see Kuemper fold like the head case he is in game 3.

Just a really unpleasant experience with Colorado fans during the 2014 playoffs and beyond.

LOL! I've never been to a game in Denver, but have been to Avs games in St. Paul, Chicago, and Winnipeg, so I don't really know what their home fans are like. Being the jovial guy that I am (and intelligent!) I ALWAYS play nice on the road and that includes Packers & Badgers, so thanks for not including me! I never liked Kadri elsewhere and after 3 years, I'm still not sold on him. It's tough to like somebody when you've hated his guts for 10 previous years. (Same as Marchand for me).

MCR jr was at the 7-0 game Saturday, but I haven't asked him about the fans. Talk about ass-whoopins, Monday certainly was one. I figured it would be a win for TBL, but I didn't see that coming. If Tampa Bay wins tonight, ALL bets are off. They like to fight from behind.

No UW news, so why not the NHL!

Minnesota is definitely not immune to hate. I mean, they iced Cooke and he took out Barrie during that series. I was ashamed when they signed him. Cooke is way worse than Kadri. At least Kadri can play excellent hockey. Cooke should have been banned from the NHL before signing in Minnesota.

2-2 in OT right now. All I can think of is that McDonagh has really lost a step. Or maybe he's injured? idk. He doesn't look as good as I remember in recent memory.

Colorado's speed makes Tampa look like they are standing still a lot of the time.

Hoping for a 7 game series with Game 7 going to OT.

Edit: and Kadri wins it. Blew right by McDonagh.

I like you Mr Rich, but I'm with Tim. Can't stand the Av's ever since Claude le-shade tried to take off Draper's jaw....

Watching Mike Vernon bloody up Roy was one of my favorite memories of that era.....

But the lightning have looked out of gas in this series....

The Bolts weren't outta gas tonight. Gotta give them credit. The Avs had their chances, but now I really think the momentum is with Tampa Bay. This proves that all the whining by Lightning fans that their team is beat up is a bunch of schitt.
Everybody's beat up this time of year.
 
Well… I got overruled with respect to UW hockey tickets. My dad wants to keep our 6 seats for another year. It seems like throwing money into a sewer to me,…

He’s a bit more optimistic than I am I think. Not about Granato but about the idea the program can change on a dime with the right recruits.
 
So Martin has left the program and Buckburger is heading back to the AJHL for another season (which is a bummer to me). That means for D we have Kehrer, Vorlicky, Ceulmanns, LaMaster, Laatsch, Donovan, Dexheimer and Jugnauth. All I hope for is 2 things: heads on swivels in the D zone and stick to stick breakout passes.

Jugnauth had 41 A in 52 games, Dexheimer had 39 A in 60 games, UW so needs a few D that are assist rackers who are reliable in the D zone.
