Forgive my skepticism, but I rather suspect that any scum who would defend Trump does not give two whits about distracting from President Biden.

What....if Dems don't impeach, then GOP will be crossing the aisle and singing kum-bay-yah to ensure that Biden's agenda succeeds? Not even Charlie Brown would try to kick that football.

No the point is that if they go to trial in the Senate none of Biden's people get confirmed. That is the game McConnell is likely playing. Without a trial Biden gets his people confirmed pretty quickly and gets moving. That is why Biden questioned it yesterday.

There are ways to make it work though so I wouldnt worry about it.
 
Wonder when Trump's family turns on him. He really destroyed their lives by running for President. If he hadn't bothered they all would be fine right now.

Oh I think they do. They have spent their entire lives at his throne. They are nothing without him. Even if his name is Mudd Ivanka needs him if she wants to run for Congress in Flo(R)ida. Don Jr. needs to leverage his father to foreign rich people to buy Newsmaxx or OANN which he wants to do. Eric...well he is touched so he needs Donny's nurses to make sure he gets his shoes tied.

They may have little with him...but they have nothing without him.

they were complicit. By choice.

I'd be fine if they led the rest of their lives homeless.

If they turn, they would just be added to the high number of cowards to are only reacting now, when this was predicted in mid 2016 based on his comments.

I would take a lot of pleasure seeing them repeatedly in front of bankruptcy court, and at the end, they are wearing off the rack clothing.

Pragmatism and foresight are not the hallmark of this brood.

On another front McConnell is right...the only chance the GOP has to save itself at this point is to exterminate Trump from the party and politics completely. The problem he has is the Trump loyalists aren't going GOP in the future. And if say...Ivanka or Jr. decides to make a run the GOP might as well commit seppuku.
