I still remember thinking Tomorrow Never Dies had a completely unrealistic villain when it came out. Mea culpa. It simply foreshadowed Murdoch. That is one Bond movie that aged extremely well.

The more I think about this, the more I think it’s dead on. I came here to say I hope our top allies have been protecting their covert assets. Then it became pretty clear that this isn’t just fucking US intelligence, it’s got to be rattling other counties as well.

It truly is Bond level espionage/manipulation happening... Putin and other World Leaders are playing 4D Chess... Dumpy is just a random pawn on the board who swings blindly at whomever is around him and causes damage... Poots just figures out his patterns and was able to direct Dump towards his own enemies...

More of these people need to get very sick and die. Too many innocent grandpas and grandmas and too many innocent front line health care workers are dying. Even too many college students who were stupid but not evil are getting sick and some are dying. People with blood on their hands are the ones who need to get sick and die.

Speaking of that, haven't heard anything about Ben Carson or Mark Meadows recently. Are we to assume they're doing OK?
 
I posted something similar 2 or 3 days ago. This is his out. "The counts are wrong and fraudulent, but there's nothing a simple man of the people like I am can do," is what he'll say. Not that we're all back on the poll bandwagon but I did read somewhere that one poll showed even a majority of republicans generally believe the vote counts are accurate and that trump lost. That poll has got to be eating at trump, knowing even most of his own voters know he lost.
 
I think we all expect that will be the way out. Then he will spend 4 years talking about how the system screwed him and blackmail his way to the nom for the rematch.

The funny thing is I bet trump could even fail at this. Yes his minions and rubes and dupes might like to follow him away from FOX, but trump is basically incompetent at almost everything he does. His TV success wasn't due to his brilliance, it was due to creative TV people who came up with his show and the idiocy of the average American television viewer. But it was for an hour a week. Not 24/7. Put him in charge of a network and I bet even the NFL would fail on it, and the NFL is as sure a TV bet as are the inevitability of death and taxes. If trump's track record of hired hands during his White House time is any indication of how well he'd do running a network, it would be gone quicker than the UPN. Remember, he took his dad's fortune and lost money. He would have done better with an interest bearing checking account.

No way he wants to be president again. He didn't want to be this time, it just happened.

He will gladly say he's running and bilk his supporters out of every penny he can get, though.
