Nobody has ever called her a hero.
We applaud that she makes fools of the GOP consistently.

Her conclusion that it shouldn't be forgiven is the correct one, but her argument was poorly stated.

I disagree that it was a correct conclusion, but how can anyone claim she is a socialist if she doesn't believe education should be free for everyone.
I don't understand why every American high school graduate looking to go to a university doesn't go to Europe, where it's free in a majority of countries.
No. Yes.
Just means test loan forgiveness. If mommy and daddy have enough money to pay your loans then make them pay them. If not, then we'll pay them.
I have zero sympathy for people with rich parents who grouse about their loans. Fuck you.
I'd add something in there about graduating or at least leaving in good standing to have them forgiven. If some frat boy type who basically went to college to party flunks out or gets kicked out due to behavior or something, I don't want their loans forgiven. There could be a few rare cases where someone legit put forth the effort and still flunked out. I would be ok with some level of forgiveness there too I think. But would need to be case-by-case basis.
Not for Americans, it's not. My wife went to Oxford for grad school, and her tuition was >10x of what UK citizens paid. During the time we lived there, there was a student uprising in London because they were raising tuition in UK public colleges to something like $3000 per year.cF[Authentic said:;n3673945]I don't understand why every American high school graduate looking to go to a university doesn't go to Europe, where it's free in a majority of countries.

Which is why I said "a majority of countries."

She is basically saying "why should people pay taxes for things that don't directly benefit themselves. "

Just a massive swing and a miss.
Don't try to measure effort, don't make it some Puritan normative bullsh-t. You get your chance and if you're poor we pay for it. If you blow it you played yourself.
It's like the morons who think we should forgive loans for STEM degrees but not English. Again: fuck you. If anything, the higher career earnings you can expect the less we should pay your loans back.
As for Nancy being a Socialist...no one who doesn't watch Faux News thinks she is anywhere near one. She is way too business friendly to even joke about it. She isn't as evil as the Trixies of the world pretend she is, but she can't see Socialism from her back yard either. ;^)
She is a good Speaker when going against a party that wants nothing to do with governing. In better days she would be obsolete.
Are you saying "fuck you" to me?
Trixie?

Did you forget trixie already? He who called me the Warmongering Conservadem who supports Israeli Apartheid and was not doing it for the lulz? He even came after you once ;^)
In other news Sinema signed her death warrant in her primary...she is against the $3.5 Trillion package.
