Ya know, on a scale of 0 to 10, I actually have 0.000001 more respect for someone who sticks to his principles even after it has affected him personally. The ones who cry and regret and wish they had known (narrator: they knew)? They are a 0.0.
 
I wonder if there have been any real studies yet of whether the Derps have actually affected themselves politically. In the beginning there was no political element to the deaths, but since early Spring a larger and larger proportion are Nazi deaths. I know it takes a lot to really tip the scales, but we were already in a razor-thin situation with the Right losing power every time one of theirs accidentally got educated, and with their less healthy and older population slightly more likely to keel over from a lifelong pursuit of Sim Jims and meth.

Could we actually see the difference in purple states based solely on their slow motion suicide by petulance?

Aren't the Pope and the Vatican very pro-vaccine? I would think a Cardinal going against that would be in trouble. I assume that the same U.S. evangelical Catholics who feel that Biden should be denied communion for being pro-choice are also doing everything they can to unseat this Cardinal for going against the Vatican's directive.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant do we think we'll see cracks in the wall "politically". In terms of raw numbers, absolutely it's going to hurt them.

I think I said something to the effect of too bad this didn't happen before the census. You made some comment about the broodsows would have no problem replenishing the herd or something like that.
 
Good lord. Just looked at my county (Brevard in FL) numbers again. 7-day daily case average is 622 (I.e. 4354 new cases in the last week). The highest it had ever been before July 2021 was 434 back in Jan 2021, when nobody was vaccinated.

There’s are 606k people in the county and it’s now 50% vaccinated. Even allowing for a large number of breakthrough cases (up to 30%), that means more than 1% of unvaccinated people in the county tested positive for COVID just within the last week.

DeSantis should be tried for crimes against humanity.
