Covfefe-19 The 12th Part: The Only Thing Worse Than This New Board Is TrumpVirus2020

I discovered something fun. My arm didn't hurt at all, but I thought to myself, "Self, you aren't really using the muscle they gave you the shot in. What if you did?"

So I lifted a heavy box in my office.

Holy balls, that hurts. I mean it's almost pass out hurt. And the weird thing is there's no treble -- it's all bass, all deep, deep muscle pain, the kind that makes your head swim.

So, I learned 2 things.

(1) Don't do that.

(2) Considering I went almost 28 hours without accidentally feeling that, I have an extraordinarily sedentary lifestyle.

After a nice long sleep, back to normal. The only thing that hurts in my shoulder is the bursitis, too bad it didn't get better with the fight.

Day after Pfizer 2 shot - my shoulder still hurts, and I slept 10 hours last night. I have a sore muscle in my upper back, but that might be from sleeping for 10 hours. Otherwise I’m perfectly fine.

My Pfizer Shot 1 update:

Day 0: nuffin
Day 1: arm hurt like a motherfucker when I used the tricep, a little dizzy
Day 2: nuffin

Honestly the only thing that really bugged me was the foggy brain. I was prepared for much worse flu symptoms like the gf got but they were mild enough. Fogginess persisted for a few days and made life kinda slow.

So you were Eric Trump for a few days?

So you were Eric Trump for a few days?

That’s the top-tier Trump, right? The foggier you get, the closer your get to DT and DT Jr. levels, right?

Government: Their collusion with the Russians during the election was a crime..because they weren’t smart enough to know what they were doing.

DT Jr via Twitter: “See!” [Not realizing the implications of what was just said.]

Just got the second Pfizer. So far so good.

But it hurt when she stuck me. She just sort of leaned forward in here chair and did an overhand slam of the needle into my arm. No finesse or care, just wham.

Did you have your handkerchief in the left pocket or the right pocket?

Over and above the usual nuttiness.

My baseline is nawt (sniff) my fawt!

Monday is round 2 of Moderna. I've heard varying things, so I told my grad school instructor I wasn't sure how active or engaged I would be that day.

Also, time and again, I am reminded defeating this pandemic is a group project and I hate group projects.

ive been saying this and using the cigarette example for months.

I want coauthorship

Not sure I agree with the premise. We know social distancing and masks don't eliminate 100% of exposure. But they do reduce the exposure so much that the dose that people get is reduced enough to prevent an infection dose.

From what I read from that theory, the fact that distancing and masks are not 100% effective makes them useless. And the data out there suggests that the position is not as simple as a binary position like that.

The cigarette connection is funny- because we've banned cigarettes indoors in many places- which has turned out to be pretty popular, and the risk of covid is considerably worse in the short term- but people are so upset over masks. They are the same rule, basically.

The conclusion isn't pack restaurants, the conclusion is no restaurants until we've gotten this under control

I don't see the cigarette analogy at all. Yes, you may still get a whiff of second hand smoke all the way on the other side of the room from the smoker, but you aren't getting anywhere near the hit that the people sitting right next to them are. Same with Covid.

I am reminded me a year ago at this time, rhymes with Frump suggested we inject bleach.

Imagine if we even would have had C+/B- leadership at that time.

It's because cigarette smoke is an aerosol just like COVID. It can hang in the air for hours and can spread to an entire room just with natural air currents.

Now imagine that there's a smoker sitting in a restaurant with you and they chain smoke for an hour. You're still going to get throughly exposed over long enough time.

The point is, masks and limiting time are the most important factors. Not distance. Distance becomes useless as t gets larger.
