      Lots of excitement in the les household. Mum les was admitted to a long Term Care place. Lots of drama that ended in me relinquishing POA so bro les (and his wife who likes to manage everything) could 'just' do all the things that needed to be done. meanwhile uncle les had a total knee replacement. FIL les spent a month in the hospital and rehab with CHF and covid. TY inlaws.

      lil is well, not lil. He is 28 1/2 has a gf, is working and doing well.

      I miss the community we used to have here.
      Wow -- lots going on in les world. It seems like everybody has a sis-in-law like that, with the possible exception of single, only-children, and they likely have a next-door neighbor who makes up for it. I hear you on missing the community we once had here.

      Beyond that, I miss the world we used to have (a sure sign of aging). North of here, a man shot and killed his father because dad didn't let him come to the hunting shack anymore, so the son hadn't filled his deer tag. News flash: there aren't hunting excursions on the prison itinerary.
