1 hour until we see if it's chaos, hell, or a nothingburger. I'm safe, I'm far enough out in the 'burbs.Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Hearing about all the riots, I was worried this morning and rode my bike near home. I wanted to stop to get a pizza on the way home which normally I would eat at a picnic table nearby. Of course the tables are off limits and carrying a pizza on a bike is basically impossible. Well, I wanted to help Make America Grate Again.

Today was the bigger fire at the HPESE. While it took a while to get going, it was an unqualified success. It took about 3 hours to burn everything down to nothing. At one point I think I had the flames 10-12 feet high. I ended up walking way faster than I planned. I am listening to The Lost Symbol (Dan Brown). I read it years ago but I can't remember what happens.
