5 hours of sleep is not enough sleep. Softball game last night, 9:45 pm and I get to be at work at 7 am. My friend calculated that was our team's first win in 1,113 days. We took a few seasons off due to Covid, with rain outs this was only our 2nd game so far this season, and based on his number we didn't do so well in the 2019 season if there were no June or July wins. That makes me wonder when my last win with this team was, because I only played a couple of late season games in 2019....something about pregnancy and recovering from parasite removal surgery (I can't believe she's already 3).

Good Evening Lodge!
Continuing with the distribution of the bagillion tomatoes I grew from seed. I think I see more people this time of yr than the rest of the yr combined.

My coworker gave me a crop of six tomato plants he grew from seeds he’s cultivated over the years. He learned the craft from the guy who headed up MN’s horticultural society and the plants looked gorgeous. We only planted them a couple weeks ago, and I’m curious to see how we do with them. They’re supposed to be some interesting colors, some white, others striped, another yellow, and yet another purple, and then varying sizes.

Greetings Lodge. I'm currently in Aurora, CO at a conference. We just finished the exhibit part of the event. We had one reception last night and another tonight. Tomorrow we have a day full of interviews. It's been a bunch of moving parts. I'm back in my room right now for a few hours. I'm exhausted and sore from lugging and moving and packing up stuff. I'm getting too old for this.
In addition, my brother texted me this morning to tell me my aunt, who has been in rehab waiting for a bed to open somewhere in a nursing home, has taken a turn for the worse and is now on hospice care and on a morphine drip. I suppose it's just a matter of time. I'm sad but it's not a surprise, we've all been planning for this. I'm more sad for my mom. It's her sister and they're very close. I'm not changing my travel plans to fly home early as I'll be home Thursday night. I'm glad my brother is home visiting so he can be with my mom.
