Some days I love my job. Today is not one of those days.Comment

Evening, Lodge. Got some news today. We are upping our starting wage, b/c we really need workers. Doesn't affect me on that end, obv, but......they are also upping the ceiling for the workers who have been there a while (that would be me). They don't want to fall into that wage trap where the long-timers are not making little more than the rookies, relatively. That is very good news.
Now, we just have to find some people that actually want to work for their dollar.
EDIT: I have to say, FTR, it's $18+ starting + benefits and PTO. It's not a McJob.Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
