Went for my usual Thursday drink tonight. My friend that joined me didn't get there till after 6pm so I got to chat with hottie bartender for a bit. He says "Isn't your birthday coming up?" I said "Yes, it's Monday. My friends are taking me out to dinner, we were planning to stop by here for a post dinner beverage, are you working on Monday?" He said yes. After dinner, he asked if we were getting dessert, we said no, but I asked for coffee and two minutes later, he brings out a dessert with a Happy Birthday chocolate bar and a candle. Aw, sweet! So we had to go - my friend had to catch a cab so I asked for the check and he said "You're all set. Happy Birthday!" That was unexpected.
