And so, to the off-season, wherein lies the the certainty of graduation losses to your favorite college team, blended with the uncertainty of what underclass players, if any, will leave your favorite team's program before the start of the 2011-2012 college hockey season.
As for me, I'll continue to get my hockey "fix" by watching the somewhat interminably long Stanley Cup playoffs. With the weather beginning to get more reliably conducive to outdoor activities, there's the start of golf season and the enjoyment of strenuous mountain hikes, punctuated by breathtaking scenery, once mud season and spring runoff have concluded in Summit and Eagle Counties.
A tip of the cap to Duluth for a terrific effort last night and a long sought NCAA hockey title.
