Did quite well. It was nearly perfect weather. We had 6 groups of 5 guys. Each group was given 15 birds and 2 Chukers. Our group had two awesome dogs who found all of the birds. Our group got 15 birds including both Chukers.Originally posted by Gonzo View Post
Since I was with clients I went into the hunt trying to give them the best chance to shoot. However, wherever I ended up the birds were always right in front of me. I probably shot 6 maybe 7 birds. Not bad for never been Pheasant hunting before. I sucked at shooting clays though.
The hunt was over around 4 and I was dropped off last night at home sometime just before 2 AM. I left the place with four birds (which were cleaned) but came home with nothing.
The grounds were quite nice. In addition to birds (They go through between 5000 and 6000 birds a year) they also own three lakes that are stocked with Walleye.sigpic
