Five-time seems to have started his traditional kick into high gear as we near the chase.
I think he's in for quite a dog fight though this year between Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and the Busch brothers all looking like surpreme challengers for the crown this year.
Well, I'm going to do a farewell tour of upstate New York, hellholes like Plattsburgh. Fred Armisen as Gov. Paterson

Nice to see that the 48 is done. Should be a good finish between Carl and Tony this weekend.
It was bound to end at some point. If not for Jimmie wrecking while going for 7th at Charlotte he might have still had a dog in this race.
He had a few things go against him this year and the breaks were bound to finally catch up with him.
I'm rooting for Smoke to win. Always respected Tony because of his support of dirt track racing by owning Eldora and funding numerous sprint car teams as well as hosting the Prelude to the Dream every year bringing in NASCAR guys to raise money for charity before the big Dream 100 super late model race.
He also still jumps into sprint cars as many times as his schedule allows to just race and get away from the NASCAR stuff everyday.
