    MAGGLIO!!!

    2-0, bottom 3

On first contact, I thought he yanked that one foul.

Verlander's velocity is up early this afternoon. He's hit 95 & 96 in the 1st inning.

Phil Coke sucks at the sport of baseball.

Edit: Double, intentional walk, hit batter for RBI, Sac Fly, hit batter to reload bases.

When did reddit go classy? I would have upvoted that.

Apparently Dirks is the only guy who can hit Haren on the Tigers roster this year.

I was just going to ask about this.

MLB TV is also reporting on their crawl that Turner is starting today.

MLBTraderumours.com is reporting that Doug Fister is a Tiger, as well as David Pauley. It looks like we are sending Furbush and Casper Wells, plus some more.
Fister for Furbush...submitting the Fark headline now.

And...done. "Tigers show Furbush to Mariners, get Fistered"

    And redlit. Eff you, mods.

Okay. I think I have it now.

Tigers acquire Doug Fister and David Pauley.

Mariners acquire Charlie Furbush, Casper Wells, Francisco Martinez and PTBNL.

I'm reading more about this trade. 3B Francisco Martinez (AA-Erie) is also headed to Seattle. Still unsure about who now has Below.

Apparently Below's in the trade, too. That would explain why Turner is starting today.

    Two things this morning:

Jacob Turner might be starting today against the Angels

Charlie Furbush might be traded for Doug Fister. A Fister/Furbush trade. The joke writes itself.

I'm not sure how true either of those are.

I don't think I like Cabrera tagging up and scoring there when we're already up 11-2. That's a good way to get one in the back tomorrow afternoon.

Implied Giant Tiger here. It's 12-2 in the 8th. If we lose this, fire everyone.
