Rumor on WIP this morning is that Hamels is playing hurt, which is why his stuff isn't working. Of course that's pure speculation, because nobody is saying anything other than the talking heads.
They suggested the following rotation:
Game 1 - Lee
Game 2 - Blanton
Game 3 - Martinez
Game 4 - Hamels (if he's truly healthy, or possibly Happ)
Logic was they didn't want Pedro pitching game 2 in NY, since he'd probably open his mouth and give the Yanks bulletin board material. Also, since Hamels is shaky, having him pitch game 3, means he's the man for game 7. To much of a risk. So Pedro gets game 3.
They also mentioned that Lee's ERA is a full point higher on 4 days rest than it is on 5 days rest. He's NEVER pitched with 3 days rest, so nobody think's Charlie will try it with this much on the line.
Cornell '82
"The first time I went to a Cornell game, I was in awe. I'm a big believer that sports fans should get out and see everything -- the Indy 500, the Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby. I've seen all that, and there's nothing like Lynah Rink." - Carl McKee, father of Cornell Goalie, David McKee
How many times are we going to see a replay of the Shane effing Victorino grand slam off CC from last year during this series? I'm putting my bet in at 4,527.
Let me get this straight...the Yankees are the small intrepid band of rebels and the Phillies are the Galactic Empire?
Yeah, I see the comparison.

And the preacher said, you know you always have the Lord by your side
And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord
