    Worst. Booth. Ever.

That annoying kid that did sideline reporting for the Little League World Series and Joe Morgan would be an improvement. Okay, scratch the Joe Morgan part. Bottom line: They suck.

"It took a bad hop," Pedroia said. "Our infield (stinks). It's the worst in the game."

Pedroia was obviously peeved, but did not back away from his statement.

"I'm not lying about that. That is true. I think about those things. That stuff upsets me," Pedroia said. "My job is to take 1,000 groundballs a day. Other guys' job is to get the field perfect so we can play baseball."

it was the field's fault, america

First game of the Phils-Dodgers was a hoot (particularly when you don't care who wins). Who was the used car salesman in the cornflower blue suit doing the on-field? Dude made Ahmad Rashad look professional.

Isn't the umpire supposed to notice the ball hitting Vlad making it a dead ball...and the first base umpire realizing that you know, Vlad was safe.

NOW they don't call the neighborhood play? Amazing. Wow.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

"Our video crew went back and checked, and on all the double plays tonight, Aybar touched the base."

Don't necessarily agree with the call, but them's the rules.

I agree with the "rules" argument, but after years of playing/watching ball, it's still a curious call.
