Jesus. What did we have a lockout for, again?
I think we can all appreciate this quote from Chiarellli that I just picked up:

What was it about this great city that helped get the deal done...the fine wine?....the outstanding architecture?

''No,'' said a beaming Chiarelli, ''it was the Czech beer!''
This also should explain the Andrew Ference, Tim Thomas, and Milan Lucic signings.

Post concussion or not, I t hink it is too much money, based upon recent play. We'll see how he does this year.
Waaaay too much money. The Bruins are still in love with pre-concussion Bergeron. So far he has been nothing but a 2nd or 3rd line guy that is still trying to regain his scoring touch that many thought would make him a legitimate scoring threat.

What's this? The voice of reason from a Bruins' fan?

According to a Swede on a Sharks board, the cheapest tickets started at $180.

Oh. Right. Early season. Penalties called every 8 seconds.

Thrashers goaltender Ondrej Pavelec just collapsed on the ice during the ATL/Capitals game. Play was in the opposite end, and Pavelec motioned to the bench before going down.

No word on his condition yet.
