It's directed by Werner Herzog and he likens it to all the James Bond movies...not a remake, not really a sequel, just another story.

Did you miss Sienna Miller in the Baroness' outfit?

In all seriousness though, I know what you mean. Both storylines are ridiculous and there is some cheesy forced acting but overall when i go into a movie, I want to be "entertained". I was by both of these movies regardless of the plot holes etc.

They got off to great starts with Sienna Miller and Megan Fox though. Any movie with either of those can do no worse than a B-

GI Joe was crap. At leasrt TF2 was what it was supposed to be - bad overall or not. Joe was complete cheese disguised as something more, with horrible acting throughout to boot.

It was better than the first 2. Not too often you can say that for the 3rd movie in a trilogy.

I swear to Parise, I was pumped for the GI Joe movie when I saw the promo-standup display at the theater when I saw Public Enemies.......then I saw a Wayans brother was in it, and about a million red flags went up.

Also watched "Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways"

*ing excellent documentary (directed by Vicky Blue, former member of the Runaways). Pretty much a home video, which translates into all the crap that VH1 SHOULD have in their "Behind The Music" episodes.

Unfortunately, Joan Jett had refused permission to use any Runaways music in the film, and did not participate in the filming. However, everyone else is here, and there's some stuff that is unreal. Even while they hold back they still tell some details you won't hear on a normal Hollywood doc/tv doc. Example: Lita Ford flat-out said, "I'm trying to bite my tongue here, but I got a lot of sh* on them, and they got a lot of sh* on me......" but still continues to dish stuff on other members (and don't worry, other members return the favor).

Some parts were kind of rough to watch, as most of bands' troubles on regular shows are sanitized/edited heavily. Not here. There are times when member shed a tear, and a couple times where Blue flat out says, "Ok, we'll break here...." because the story is too raw, too emotional.

I HIGHLY recommend this, even if you don't really care too much about the Runaways, if only because many bands go through this kind of stuff, and it's here you can really see how it affects them.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
Tastes like a warm summer day. -Raylan Givens
