Saw Inglorius Basterds the other night. Really enjoyed it. 3 hours went by really fast. I love the music QT puts in his movies, it is so perfect for what is going on. I loved Pitts italian. Only in a QT movie will you have the audience laughing at 100's of people being massacred.

We watched "The Other Boelyn Sister". It wasn't too bad. Scarlett Johansen's character was almost transparent. Natalie Portman's character "Anne" was ... well, she got what she deserved I guess.

We also watched "The Gangs of New York". This was the first movie I really liked Dicaprio in. And Daniel Day-Lewis is amazing, as always.

I saw it on Friday night. I also thought it was pretty **** good. The highlight for me was Brad Pitt speaking Italian, absolutely hilarious.

Good point. QT is one of the few (only?) high profile directors who still make movies to entertain people. He also gives the lie to the industry maxim that fun movies have to be stupid so the audience won't get confused.

I just love how Tarentino's movie appeal to both film snobs and frat boy sports fans.

Hey, that's the mark of a high quality, high entertainment movie. Both those types can quote every scene of The Godfather, too.

Anyway, frat boy sports fans from the right schools are movie snobs...

But the question that wasn't answered is: "Is it still worth the $8 to just watch Megan Fox walk around in wet cloths for 2 hours, or should I wait and pay $1 and get it from RedBox?"

I would say neither...give it 3 years and when her career has fizzled out because she has no real value minus the fact that guys who never get any want to drool over her she will do Playboy or make some "artsy" film and actually get naked in hopes people will still care.

It got 41% on Rottentomatoes overall and the Top Critics had it at 36% that is pretty bad. What is really funny is All About Steve got a 6%...that is the lowest number I have seen on there

I saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs...it was cute

That "joke" doesn't even make sense.

Now, if you woulda said "Cruel Intentions" that might have worked, if the movie was anywhere close to passable.
