At the game yesterday; going again today. I hope the Twins can finally get a W while I'm in attendance

Bobby Cox is looking better than ever (health-wise). The man is a legend. I didn't see the squeeze coming until it was too late--just like the Twins

Twins Baseball... Well, we know what needs to happen, and knowing is half the battle

I'd like to see this team rip off a 15 game winning streak as much as the next guy, but there is plenty of time for it to come together.

Yeah seriously, this team is on pace to win a ton of games despite having to play at least 1 guy who bats below .200 sometimes 2! Not to mention that a lot of their team is vastly underachieving. Sorry but I think the team is just fine and if even 1 of Hudson and Hardy get back in the lineup regularly the team will be fine.

Look at this way...the Twins, despite having to play 4 guys in a rotation in the lineup who stink and a couple other guys who do not put the fear of god into other teams are leading the Central by 3.5 games right now. (the largest lead in any division if I read the standings right) If you can't feel good about that then I wonder why you watch sports at all.

And we are only in June, you dont get to use the "we have to win in the playoff" excuse yet. Trust me I will be trumpeting that one when the Twins clinch

And Bobby Cox, minus the squeeze play, overmanages to the point of boredom. Christ, whats next Bobby picking random fans out of the stands to pitch to one batter? I can't stand watching that, and that includes when Gardy does the same crap. Let your pitchers get some outs, you dont need every bullpen guy to be a specialist.

He needs to get pinch hits more often in order to play more

What he's doing right now is kind of wasting a spot...He hasn't really added anything except to the opposing pitcher's strikeout number.

Not sure how the Twins can put out a line-up with four hitters around or below .150 and think they can beat a very good Braves team. Strasburg's pitching on TBS now, want to check this kid out.

I am not in a baseball mood today so I checked the score and that was it. Watching Strasburg face a Cleveland team my old high school could beat isn't exactly enticing either

And Starsburg was struggling towards the end of his outing, walking 5.

Well honestly I can't say I am surprised. He is making his second start he is going to have problems along the way. I think people are heaping way too much onto this kid. The hype alone might kill him.

For starters, I'm going to stop going to the games in person They've only lost 12 at home this year, and I've been there for 25% of those

Other than that, what I was really going for there was a cliche statement about being healthy, consistent pitching and timely hitting. That isn't at all how it read, but I promise, it sounded really clever in my head at the time

Hudson to return on Tuesday; I really hope he picks up where he left off.

I know how that goes. I'd like to say I've learned the hard way regarding that, but let's be honest, I haven't learned at all because I keep saying doing it.

I agree, without these injuries we have maybe half the problems.

So here's a random observation: for a bunch of ground/fly ball pitchers...the Twins sure throw a lot of pitches. I see no logical reason that these dinkbags should be at 80 pitches midway through the 5th.

                              Bizaro Twins tonight:

Delmon Young--3 for 3 with an RBI and scoring 2 runs
                              Nick Punto--2 for 3 with 2 RBIs
                              Tolbert--2 BB batting 2nd again
Joe Mauer--2 GIDPs (but a hit to start the 4th inning rally and a run scored)

8-3 into the bottom of the 6th; Pavstache doing okay enough
