    Carry on.

    BRING BACK PAT RICHTER!!!

At his graduation ceremony from the U of Minnesota, my cousin got a keychain. When asked what UW gave her for graduation, my sister said, "A degree from a University that matters."

Canned music is a pathetic waste of your time.

Interesting story about Tyson Nash, former hockey player and now Coyotes analyst, trying to get his green card since 2001.

Just another part of this whole picture that is way messed up.

Old sexist but hey we're all friends here joke: a man never gets the last word in a fight with a woman. If it appears he has, it's merely the first word in the next fight.

I have friends from Oxford - she's American and he's British. They got married in the UK during grad school, then she returned to the US to start law school. It took him a year and a half to get a visa (and that's not even a green card - it expires after 2 years), during which he could not enter the US because they would have stopped him at the border as an "intending immigrant."

Nothing like it works in the movies - Sandra Bullock would have been out on her butt.
If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

I like scarborough. Usually level-headed. He says a few stupid things every so often, but what pundit doesn't?

Regarding the article, it misses the point completely. It's not the fact that the rates have been flat, it's that we're finally getting sick and tired of our people getting murdered, kidnapped, whatever. Does every illegal commit crimes? No, of course not. But there are some who do. At what point do we draw the line in the sand and say no mas?

Re: Illegal Immigration Pt. III: It's Illegal to be Illegal? Really?

If that's their worst offense, then the Morning Joe folks are doing pretty well.

I'll admit my bias - I'm a fan. Not because Scarborough is the most articulate conservative. I'm sure lots of righties think he's turned into a RINO wimp. But lots of lefties are aghast that Mika "represents" them. Both sides are right . . . and wrong.

Wrong because it's the last politics show left on TV that isn't really about the hosts. They actually get people to talk. Sometimes guests fall flat. But sometimes they accidentally drop their guard and talk more or less like normal human beings.

I kind of like Chuck Todd's show on MSNBC too.

                        Honestly, I don't think he's a RINO but whatever.

i completely agree with you on the show. It's by far my favorite show to watch (although I only get about 30 minutes of it a day while I'm getting ready for work) when it comes to politics. No bomb throwers as regulars, and if any are on, they get called out (left or right).

so... if you want to be even more depressed... the Democratic Party leadership in the house are now wearing solidarity wrist bands against the Arizona law. I've heard of doubling-down on stupid... but... wow... just wow.

                              Don't know about that.

Morally...I understand their position...don't fully agree, but understand. I think the ban on ethnic studies is both more negative towards minorities and doesn't even target its supposed goals.

Politically...it seems to further partisan goals vis a vis the GOP...Hispanics are not happy about this.

Technically...police chiefs across the country are pretty solidly against the bill as it undermines their foundational strategy for combating crime.
