  • Skydiving from 120,000 feet... Seriously.

Came across this while trolling the interwebs... This is the first Red Bull publicity stunt in awhile that might actually be worth watching. Guy is going to spend 3 hours riding up in a balloon to 120,000 feet, jump out, free fall for 5 and a half minutes, break the sound barrier, then attempt to walk away.

Didn't they try this before and the balloon popped before they took off? Or was that guy just trying to break the record for highest altitude achieved in a hot air balloon?

          red bull or NASA?

NASA has done this before. Kind of a proof of concept that you could survive a jump from very high altitude if something went that wrong.

102K feet on his third jump. On his first jump, he went into a flat spin at 120 RPM and lost conciousness! Automatic chute saved him.

I'll only be impressed if he pulls it off without a chute.
Having a clear conscience just means you have a bad memory or you had a boring weekend.

Energy drink companies know better than to F-*-*-* (EDIT: you have to put dashes in there now?!?!?!) with Chuck.

A parachute will be involved. (And if not... YouTube fame!)
