    MLB Predictions 2010 - Regular Season Edition

    Opening day may have come and gone, but I'm putting these up anyway, and wouldn't mind seeing how the rest of you think the season is going to turn out. Anyway, here are my picks:

    AL East - Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Rays, Blue Jays
    AL Central - Twins, White Sox, Tigers, Royals, Indians
    AL West - Rangers, Mariners, Angels, Athletics
    AL Wild Card - Mariners

    NL East - Phillies, Braves, Marlins, Mets, Nationals
    NL Central - Cardinals, Brewers, Reds, Cubs, Astros, Pirates
    NL West - Rockies, Giants, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Padres
    NL Wild Card - Giants

    AL MVP - Alex Rodriguez
    AL ROY - one of Justin Smoak, Carlos Santana or Desmond Jennings
    AL CY - CC Sabathia

    NL MVP - Ryan Howard
    NL ROY - Jason Heyward
    NL CY - Roy Halladay

    World Series - Yankees over Giants in 7

    Bold Predictions...
    - Roy Halladay wins 25+ games
    - Orioles finish 3rd in the AL East
    - Red Sox trade Papelbon by trading deadline
    - Felix Hernandez wins 15 games or less
    - Lou Pinella manages his way towards getting fired by the Cubs so that he can take over the Braves job next year after Cox is gone
    - Omar Minaya is fired within first two months of season

    Pinella doesn't need to try and get fired, this is the last year of his contract.
