            I work at an adult AFC home for those with TBI, and the channel of choice is Game Show Network.

            Every commercial is either "take this med for condition you didn't even know you have" or "MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT!"

                          2022. Volume normalization between shows and ads still isn't a thing. Ads blow your eardrums out and shows are whisper quiet.

                                I am now so automatic I mute ads at stangers' houses without realizing it. I've never had one complaint.

                                It's simple to just train yourself to never accept an ad: don't hear, don't view. Disappear them. They are raping your brain.
