I bet they were on the Cowboys bandwagon last weekend like 90% of media outlets.

I'm not sure what to make of this, but I think Dilfer gave his kiss of death to the Saints, as he "shockingly" picked them to win...although not as whole-heartedly as he did with the Cowboys last week. If it works, I hope he picks the AFC team in the Super Bowl.

I highly recommend the overnight stay in New Orleans. Win or lose it will be worth it.

Also, having attened a Vikings win at the Superdome over a favored Saints team- it is incredibly fun. Those fans want to win so bad it's hilarious. They never shut up and getting heckled by a drunk Saints fan with that goofy accent actually makes you feel better about yourself.

Partying on Bourbon Street after the game is like no other victory party. Whatever you do, make sure to get the room.

And it violates the separation of Church and State as well...

Already got our flight booked. Went with Priceline and got a package for the flight and rental car at ~$380 per person.

If you're still looking to go... Here's a new deal from Sun Country.

Sun Country will Fly Vikings Fans to New Orleans

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Sun Country Vacations, an arm of Sun Country Airlines, will be chartering a flight for Vikings fans to New Orleans on Sunday.

NFC championship game tickets are not included in the ticket price, which is $399 for coach and $599 for first class, per person. The price includes transportation from the New Orleans airport to Louisiana Superdome for tailgating.

The Sun Country flight leaves out of the Humphrey Terminal at 8:00 a.m. and arrives in New Orleans at 10:35 a.m. It leaves New Orleans at 11:30 p.m. and arrives back in Minneapolis at 2:00 a.m. Monday.

Creative Charters will also be chartering a Sun Country flight to New Orleans that includes one night in a hotel, priced at $499 per person. Game tickets are also not included.
