    @ Carolina: L (no showed)
@ Chicago: L (no showed for a half, sloppy)

Should MN fail to get the #2 seed, even if they survive the first round, they're almost certainly going to Philly. Anyone see a W there? Anyone? Bueller?
Anyone see Anderson missing a FG in '98? Or coming back from a 32 point deficit in the playoffs? Or the Rams losing to the Pats in 2002?

Weirder things have happened. Personally, I think the Dallas December Curse will rear its head this weekend, but that's just me.

The mass exodus of fans on the wagon tonight is astounding (even by normal MN standards).

GB lost to TB! NO lost to TB! And TB SUCKS ARSE. Chicago isn't a great team, but they're no TB. And MN was on the road. Some concern is fine, and expected, but wow. We're talking flip-the-switch-it's-that-time-of-the-month reaction here.

I'm getting tired of my facebook pals jumping all over AP for losing the game. Sure he fumbled at a most inopportune time, but thats not the only reason they lost.

That being said, he really needs to learn that sometimes its better to just run out of bounds, or go down instead of fighting for 5 more inches. I think thats when the majority of his fumbles occur. In that case, he got the first down, thats what the team needed...run out and get the ball again.

    Fact: MN is 11-4.
Fact: They are in the playoffs, which according to the cliche is a "brand new season."
Fact: They can still get the #2 seed.
Fact: despite crapping down their leg for a half, they still came back from 16-0, at one point rattled off 17 unanswered points, and almost won.

It's not like they're Cleveland, Washington, Oakland, KC, etc where a close loss is a reason for a ticker tape parade.
Fire Childress! Cut AP! Bench Favre! Sit all 11 defenders! Fire Longwell!

Or everyone can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the fact the Vikes are going to the playoffs. And hey, as you said, it's a whole different ball game.

Well according to most fans around here they might as well be those teams

Fan reaction is almost as entertaining as the game itself

If Philly beats Dallas, they get the #2 seed no matter what MN does.

Kluwe blew it on a routine play that cost MN a point.

The special teams blew it on a kickoff that handed the Bears ridiculous field position around the MN 20 (essentially handing them 3 points, although the drive was ultimately a touchdown).

AP blew it by fumbling on the 39, giving Chicago a good chance at winning just by driving it a few yards and kicking a FG (though again they ended up scoring a TD).

SG, I think they said Williams had a biceps injury.

Winfield needs to sit next week. He's clearly not healthy.
