Ah, missed that part of the tournament.

Still, they struggle financially with big bowl games.

Felt sorry for their QB getting wrecked on a safety blitz.

But they may have some other financial issues hosting a game.

In a cool playoff, Army and Jax State would have also qualified last night.

    1) Oregon - B1G
    2) Texas - SEC
    8) SMU - ACC
    10) Boise - MW

Three schools in their first year in a conference and one school leaving their current conference in two years.
Will be funny when two PAC-12 teams win the B1G and Big 12 championships.

I hope it is 8 below in South Bend.
It was supposed to be so the P4 champs would always get a bye but the Big XII screwed that up this year. Plus Boise having a Heisman candidate.

Reports said ND actually preferred the byes being held for conference champs because it meant an extra home game, and they even changed the academic calendar so students would still have a chance to be around that weekend.

I’m hoping not as he supposedly turned down 7 figures from them last year

But we can have a good laugh when Alabama plays the first round in Columbus or South Bend in the snow.
