Is it your contention that Puerto Ricans are now going to just forget that he insulted them because a guy who isn't running for President said something in defense of them? That is some strained logic even for you mookie.

Or how about this...nobody who was going to vote for Harris is going to not vote for Harris over this and I highly doubt anyone on the fence flips to Trump because Biden called out Trump and his voters for the racist trash they espouse.

Well he is right in the sense that the networks will try and make it sound like it is the same as what Trump did but I don't think that will play with most voters...especially since most people can read and would likely agree with what he said.

She is distancing herself because her message is unity and the way people are interpreting his comments is to not to unify. And we are under a week til the Election best to play it down the middle. Its not rocket science. If this was 2 months ago I doubt she would even comment the White House already clarified it anyways. And again, he isn't running for President Hillary was. Its just not the same thing.

It was not a smart comment, but the false equivocating about it like it is on par with anything Trump has said is stupid. And if voters are that stupid than we are boned anyways. Most people don't have a problem with calling awful people awful especially in the context Biden was doing it. And if you are Trump Supporter after everything then suck it up and deal. Not one of them was hurt by this...hell not one Trumper even cares. The only ones who do are media types who get apoplectic over the idea of calling a Nazi a Nazi and liberals who are letting anxiety overthink things. By tomorrow no one will even care because Biden won't be out campaigning.

I saw an interview with a young female Puerto Rican who was "leaning Trump" but the comments at MSG had her decide "to be on the right side of history". So it was ok when he spit on Women, Venezuelans, Haitians, Palestinians, Jews, Blacks, Mexicans...but he dares insult your island and now you have seen the light?

You’re assuming that the average voter pays attention to political news the way you do, or even I do. I’m willing to bet that nothing popped up on her news filter unless it explicitly stated “Puerto Rico”.

Have women always outpaced men in early voting? Because the main states seems to have a consistent 56-44 (or roughly in that neighborhood) discrepancy thus far. I guess my question is, is that indicative of women outvoting men once all is said and done, or will day-of voting even that out?

I can't answer that as an expert but from what I have read and heard these numbers were not the norm pre-Dobbs and unlike the narrative about "Republicans voting early in waves!!1!1!" this is not just the normal female voter bloc voting early female registration is WAY UP over 2020 so it stands to reason that this is at least in part indicative of a trend. (with the GOP they are mostly seeing the same voters as last time only this time they are voting early meaning the gains are not really indicative of anything)

Women are the largest voting bloc in general and are usually pretty reliable but the constant attacks on women by Vance and being in a post Dobbs world has activated them to levels many didn't see coming. And, unlike in 2020 White Women in the Burbs are breaking away from the GOP just like they did in 2022.

If those numbers hold that is (likely) a very bad sign for the Bad Guys. The Gender Gap has been killing him since the summer and he has done nothing to fix it.

If the nazis try to steal the election, there are very few scenarios where the right thing won't look terrible. But by that point, the first shots (figuratively) would have already been fired by the other side.

The president took an oath to protect the constitution and if that means using the power of the United States derived from constitutional powers, so be it.

dx, I don’t think Joe Biden is going to be so senile he won’t put down a coup. Obviously if we got that point again, it’d be whatever it takes to preserve the country, ugly or not. We’d clearly have bigger fish to fry at that point than the rules of decorum. No I take that into account...but she is not living in Bumphuck, Nowhere she lives in Philly I am pretty sure she knows a little more than what Tik Tock tells her. (not by much) I would bet money that if she had been asked the day before about his comments about Black People or Mexicans and given the quote she would have said something like "I don't like what he said, but that is just who he is he says dumb things!" like I see a lot of young people say. They don't mind it until he says it about them...
